Turquoise with lime diamonds for this month's color at RSC. She is calling the color aquamarine but I just did turquoise since it's one of my faves at the moment.
I have been so sick, just some kind of cold but it sapped all my energy.
I could barely sit and read on the porch in the lovely weather much less sew.
Today I pulled myself together and mindfully sewed tiny pieces that should probably have been thrown away!
I haven't sewn the little diamonds together yet... that will have to wait until the brain is functional again. When the 9 small diamonds are sewn together it makes a diamond about 25" tall by 15" wide.
Don't know how I'll place them yet since there will be 12 colors
And I might just add in some black and white ones.

These are looking great!
No fun being sick. Hope you feel better soon.
What saturated colors...they are looking great. Hope you feel better soon and can get back to your stitching.
My favorite one so far...I'm in love with turquoise at the moment. Can't wait to see how they all come together! Hope you're feeling better soon.
I hope to look at this fabulous diamonds helps you a little to feel better... specially the orange one is a real gem ...
Take care and feel better soon. The diamonds are looking good together, I am sure you will find a gorgeous patterns for them.
If you do the star pattern and add another round that will be 12 colours. Then add a neutral to square it off. It will look amazing. What size diamonds are they. I like this idea...
Oh no. Hope you recover from the cold quickly. Your sewing came out great with the touches of lime green in there.
Love the turquoise colours with the added yellow.
Very fun project. LOVE using up those little bits.
Feel better soon, sweetie! Great diamond block; these diamonds have such great potential!
Wow, pretty impressive for not being fully functional. I wouldn't attempt diamonds under those conditions much less those pieced with teeny tiny scraps!
You wrote,"Today I pulled myself together and mindfully sewed tiny pieces that should probably have been thrown away!"i would be sewing "mindlessly" and the beach glass colors are the best, today, if feeling off center. I certainly hope your are spry soon! Be WEll, !onja
Hope you will feel better soon. Nothing worse than a summer cold. The scraps of lime make it look faceted, like a diamond giving off sparks of light. The best one so far.
Nice, very nice!

Your diamonds are fabulous!
I love what you can do with those little tiny pieces - those diamonds are amazing! It's fun to see them evolve each month. Glad to hear you are feeling better!
Beautiful diamonds - very twinkly!
I love your sparkly diamonds!
Feel better soon! It's no fun being sick any time of year, but summer is just the worst!
I love the lime thown in the blocks! These are great!
Hope you feel better soon. Your diamonds are about the prettiest way I've seen of using tiny scraps.
Creativly gorgeous!
That okidoki is just two packed cookies! Good idea to freeze them!
Your diamonds look so good, especially with all those tiny pieces of scrap fabric. I have yet to figure out how to sew together diamond shapes - they never work out right. Hope you are over your cold soon; sometimes it's the littlest thing that throws us off balance!
What scrappy delight!
Love what you're doing with the teeny tiny scraps! can't wait to see the lay out of the quilt :)
I hope you feel better soon! I am also feeling under the weather probably because of allergies :( Your turquoise diamond is beautiful, thanks for sharing!!
Get well asap! The diamonds are exquisite, the lime accents are really great, make them sparkle like jewels.
So sorry you are under the weather. Feel better soon and keep making such gorgeous designs. BTW, LOVE the turquoise!
Hope you are feeling much better. Summer colds are the worst.
Hi sweetie
Lucky you didn't throw the tiny pieces away, the intensity of the colours is just so beautiful
This is looking really good! And I know how you feel with being sick - just got hit with a cold myself, and yep, the brain is mush.
Hope you feel better soon. Love how scrappy these are - the different shades mix so well in your diamond. Thanks for linking up to #scraptastictuesday
