Sweetie Pie!
Hello Sweetie Pie!
I haven't been blogging but I've been sewing. One of the things I did was the little hand sewn felt
Pie Pin Cushions above. Hee hee!
Right up my alley, pin cushion/whimsy/colorful
The one on the left is red sparkles with hand dyed thread embroidery. It's sort of an outline stitch with french knots and lazy daisies.
This one is my favorite, can't find it anymore, bright pink speckled felt. I used the pattern from (sewmamasew) and it's easy to make.
Check out the crust fabric. Again, embossed and fabulous and can't buy it any more. Is it any wonder why I hoard fabric??? Buy it when you see it as it'll disappear without warning.
The only thing I did differently ( since I used the templates and didn't look at the instructions, take that with a grain of salt) was to cut a pie wedge out of plastic (yogurt lid) to give the bottom structure and make sure it sits flat. I filled with those evil little plastic beads and stuffing.
I'm in love with the whipped cream!
Okay, to my followers and regular readers... Out of love and appreciation at this time of giving, if you want a slice of pie, leave a comment telling me your favorite pie filling or your favorite color, make sure I can locate you if you win, and I'll send you a piece for Christmas!! Love you!
LeeAnna
Drawing for the winner will be this weekend, which gives my followers time to find out!
**UPDATE** A winner was chosen at random and it's Sylvia! Congrats Sylvia, I am making your chocolate pie now! Send your address. For the rest of you, there will be another drawing on a new present this week. Y'all come back again!LeeAnna

Delicious this pastry. Fun to make. I like to bake pies!!!! I will try this with my daughter. We will have a nice afternoon together. Thanks for sharing.
Cute as can be...I love Blueberry pie best!!
Those are so sweet and the crust is my favorite! My favorite is Boysenberry which is a cross of raspberry and blackberry.
Thanks for making them in funny colors and shapes so no one gets confused... not something you would ever want to bite into, amirite? Lovely crafts! *wags* - Gilligan from wagsahoy.com
Red is my favorite color, and cherry pie the fav. Your pin cushions are darling.

I'm craving a slice of your fabulous looking pie! My favorite amongst many is key lime.
Those whipped creams are amazing!! Nice work!
LeAnna, these slices of pie are heavenly! And such lovely fabrics. I working on a project and have the tiniest bit of good felt left. I had to buy some seriously substandard stuff to finish. Must keep looking!
Too cute! My favorite pie is Strawberry Rhubarb and my favorite color is hot pink... like you didn't already know...
Pugs and kisses,
Nancy
Mmmm. Pie. These are adorable, and I bet they're fun to make! It's not so much a filling, as there is no top crust, but my husband makes an amazing Kentucky Fudge Pie. Only makes it twice a year, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love it with a dollop of whipped cream.
I love your pastries pincushions..... tooooooooo sweet!
How cute are these pincushions!!
These are the cutest! And so you. Key lime pie baby ;-)
So cute! I love chocolate cream pie.
Those are so cute! Cherry is my favourite. :)
These are sooo cute! Hard to pick a favorite pie, but probably pumpkin.
What a fun, whimsical, colorful idea. So very you! Pecan wins as a favorite pie, but if I should be lucky enough to get a pincushion, grasshopper pie wins the color combo.
Rhubarb!
Hope you're feeling better now. You are definitely the queen of pincushions, LeeAnna! You guys in the US have loads of pies I've never tried, looking at the comments, but I'd still have to go apple.
Hi LeeAnna!
Great to see that you have had so many reactions!
These pincushions look so good!
What fun!
Take care,
Joanne
Have you seen the cake made out of sponges? looks real enough to eat!
Green apples in apple pie - of course. What other color combination could be so yummy? These are so cute! So sweet of you to share.
