Both prizes have been given out... thank you for reading!
I'm going off grid for a bit. I have some things to do and need a break.
I wanted to make this a time for a giveaway! There will be two packages.
I am sorry to say, I might have to keep it in the US this time, so I can send these heavy books by book rate.
Mail has become very expensive. I'd love to send them anywhere but....
The first group is four quilting books.
The second group isat least three knitting books.
To win, you must entertain me. Make me laugh for instance.
Or... tell me what board games you enjoyed and why, while growing up.
Or both.
I'll give people time to enter, then choose one. Or let Milo do it since he has very little to do right now.
I love the connections we've formed through this blog... thank you for all the fun!

Oh we will miss you. Hope things get better and you return to blogging soon. Something funny? How about one Christmas my daughter gave me some pretty candy. As I was tasting it, she yelled mother that is NOT candy it is SOAP! Well, those little bathroom soaps looked like candy. They still laugh at me about that. thank goodness I didn't swallow the soap, lol. I would really enjoy the quilting books, as I don't know how to knit. Thank you for the chance to win :)
I will miss your posts. I can understand that you have lots to do with the move coming up. I moved into a new house almost a year ago and the purging and packing took up a lot of my time. Did you decide on a house?
Saying that I do not want to enter to win anything. I moved to many books as it was.
Please hurry back to blogging. I love the Milo stories.
hope every thing is ok
Hi LeeAnna,
Take all the time you need, do what you need to do, be creative, enjoy time with Drew and Milo, recharge, move settle in....You're going through a lot! That takes a lot of energy and strength, both physically and mentally!
I'll be here when you get back!
Hugs and best wishes!
Joanne
I hope things are going well for you three!
We used to play Scrabble and I still enjoy it. I pride myself on my large vocabulary but I'm sorry to say I don't speak 'Scrabble' very extensively - lotsa those words are absolute 'huh?' in my book.
:) Linda
PS Would love to have any of your books. Can come get them instead of making you mail them if you prefer. :)
As we start to think about Christmas I will always remember a cat we had that thought it was great fun to climb to the top of our 12 foot tree and then sit in the window and look around. One year we moved the tree and he could no longer reach that window, he just sat at the top of the tree next to the angel as if to tell us OK I'll wait till next year. Loved that cat. The next year we moved the tree back so he could sit in the window.
Hi Lee Anna, Just as I am getting my mind back on track, it seems you are taking a break. Hope the move goes well and you get a chance to exercise your great creativity.I'll look forward to seeing you in blogland soon. Take care.
Oh, I will miss your lovely thoughts and photos. Hope you are well and can't wait for you to return. Take care of yourself! mary in Az
