My favorite things - hmmmm, it's really hard to choose just one thing in those category. And then things come and go in my favorites list.
For example - My favorite quote(S): Whatever it takes! (this was posted in our office at one of my jobs). Life's not fair, kid! (my aunt used to say this to me whenever I whined or complained).
Abigail Adams! Oh, she was lovely. She began her beautiful letters to John with "Dearest Friend." So smart, so literate! I enjoy reading about First Ladies (nerd alert!) and she's one of my favorites, too. Not throwing shade at ER, but she's still relevant and often invoked. There's a new book about Lady Bird I'm eager to read. (Mary Lincoln and Jackie are my forever favorites; Jackie for her unexpected strength and Mary for her aching vulnerability. They each endured more than any one woman should.)
Sorry. I'll stop now. Look what you started by mentioning Abigail! :)
I love Revolutionary War era history--so Abigail Adams is a particular favorite of mine!
I don't believe I've ever had a million dollar bar. I enjoyed learning about Abigail Adams during the HBO John Adams special, which was particularly well done and highly recommended if you haven't seen it. I think it was on about 10 years ago.
Turqoise is similar to teal I think. I like that too.
