Shopping for Art supplies

Cole and I went shopping last Friday.
We just needed to get out of the house, out of the 'hood, and into some retail therapy.

We visited an area of Annapolis with some cute little shops including a quilt store and this our favorite Art Supply store!

I am into zentangles at the moment. In true fashion, one starts with materials at hand, then buys nearly everything they make for that craft. I had a great time in Art Things, while Cole visited with staff and other shoppers.

All those possibilities are like a candy store for artists.
I don't even know what to DO with half that stuff but I want it!!
I left with these...
There are a lot of books out there on this subject but this one just made my heart go pitter pat. The faber-castell pens are awesome! They also work on fabric, and we all know fabric is my obsession. The pen lays down one great black line on fabric... Marvy's The Fabric Pen. There were a lot of colors to choose from but I need your basic black. I was so excited about these supplies I went right home and made things with them, and my stamp pad on fabric. Wheeeeeee!
We toured the other stores also, and for some reason Cole REALLY  wanted to go in this one but it looked like it would be crowded and full of stuff he'd be interested in so we gave it a miss this time. Does your dog like to shop? Cole looks at every shelf in a store.

What a great adventure for Cole! Shopping is so much fun, and better with a great companion.

My person won't ever take me shopping. She says I'd probably knock everything off the shelves.

That looks like a fun adventure. Ever since I was a kid with a new box of crayons, I have loved to get new art supplies. Looks like Cole had fun too! Rita only really likes to shop at the pet store!

My dogs only get to shop at pet stores. I wish we had more dog friendly shops because I would haunt them every chance i got. How lucky for you and Cole to find a fun way to spend time together.

What great little shops you have to visit. I'd love to peruse inside them. Our stores don't allow pets except for the pet stores. : (

I just checked this book out - it looks like fun :-) I don't need more to do but am drawn to the idea of extended doodling. Love the flamingos!

Dog Poop Bags are an essential tool for responsible pet ownership, ensuring clean and hygienic surroundings for everyone. Singhal Global’s dog poop bags seem like a perfect solution with their focus on quality and convenience. If these bags are eco-friendly or biodegradable, they’re even better for the environment! Pet owners will appreciate durable bags that prevent messes and make outdoor walks stress-free. It's great to see products that prioritize cleanliness while caring for nature. Are these bags available in different sizes or scented options for added convenience?
