I Like Thursday # 275

welcome to this week's list of likes... Milo likes having a stocking so Santa can leave him whimzees, and toys! I like having a garland and lights on the mantel

I like the colors of Christmas and bringing out some quilts

I love the show Survivor and this season has been fun, even though I do not understand the why the vote went that way,  annnnnnnnnd... you can watch Ponderosa on youtube where you see the jury cast offs go to wait for the end of the game vote... so fun

this juror #6 my favorite cast off, but you can go here then look for juror #1 if you want to see them all and of course you do if this show is one of your favorites.

I ordered new kitchen towels and washcloths from Khols for fall and forgot to show you,

we keep the washcloths in a shallow drawer, rolled up and easy to choose. I love color!

look at this craziness, from temps in the high 60's over and over, no snow except in the high peaks, to 100 mph winds to this...

Fine Dining

thumbprint cookies with raspberry jam

I LOVED the tutorial cook who showed me how to make these

used a thick spreader to make a deep well
ready to bake

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54uasXDGEt8&t=418s is a cool guy who is also about to lead me through making perogi's

I also made cranberry sauce bars but no pics yet (the recipe was online, and I sneaked a taste, YUM)

and... Milo got some pumpkin/oatmeal/almond butter/cookies too

Milo's Moments

Milo: I LIKE cookies!!! Now finally I get a whole cookie!

Now let's just eat them all right now before some other dog comes in here and has them in the night while I'm asleep on the big bed!

Mama: what dog would come in when you have that enormous bark to warn them away!??

Milo: heh heh that's true... but they could get stale if we don't eat them too you know...

now go visit mama's friends here to read their lists too, let mama know if you did a post in comments

The twinkly lights and Christmas-y quilts make a house so cozy and pretty this time of year. Do you feel sad like me when you have to put it all away?

I did enjoy Survivor 41, with it's unique twists this season. I actually thought Zander played the best game and we were very surprised he didn't get any votes. But it's nice to see a woman win for a change.

We got that wind and the sleet starting about 5 pm yesterday, and the wind shrieked until very early this morning. I woke up about 5:30 and realized it was quiet.

Cute stocking for Milo! I love the lights on them mantl…is it too late to add more lights to my house? Naaa! 😊
Pretty Christmas quilts! Such colorful dishcloths! Our weather in Southern New Mexico has been warm with cold nights! Crazy….remember when we would get snow in December?
This year my daughter has kept us supplied with Christmas cookies, but those thumbprint ones look delicious. They are added to today’s to do list! Hubby will love them! Thank you for sharing!

Milo's cookies look yum! Percy is waiting for his sweet potato treat later today, some few bits of roasted sweets. I love the beautiful decorations and that you make pierogis!! I will get some made from a good Polish church lady when I am in PA (Reading) with my family. I never make them here, although there is a place in Portland ME that is supposed to have good ones. Milo likes Whimzees? Percy does too although with the loose stools we took him off it for a while. I think it is more IBS than food related but every once in awhile, I remove something to see if it is any better. Happy Christmas to you and yours!

Yesterday was definitely a crazy weather day! I love having seasonal quilted things all over the house, too - especially this time of year. Milo's treats sound perfect for him. A whole batch of cookies just for you, Milo!

Love your Christmas decorations! My mom used to make those thumbprint cookies when I was little. She hasn't made them in a few years. I should remind her! I love that Milo gets his own cookies. Makes perfect sense!

LOVE that snow globe mini and your new Christmas quilt, LeeAnna!! I think I need to make some of those dog treats for the dogs in our neighborhood. They sound tasty!

Your Christmas quilts are fabulous, LeeAnna. I really, really like them a LOT.

Both the boys have Christmas stockings, as do I, BUT we have no mantel, so I am a bit jealous of yours.

Those are some great looking cookies. I hope Milo likes the ones you made for him. It sounds like he will. Have a great Friday and wonderful weekend, dear.

LA - it has been snowing well here for the last week, and it so pretty - the icing on the trees, so to speak! Tomorrow I will do some Christmas baking - my son and I always make gingerbread men, and I will try my Mom's Divinity recipe. Love this time of year!

Your Christmas quilts are very cool. I don't watch Survivor, but I do enjoy hearing people's comments now and then. I've made thumbprints in the past, and they get eaten quickly! Even sweet Milo got some Christmas cookies - yay!
