Milo's will be stripes of these fabrics...
with the red poodles on toe and heel
Not made yet of course. I did start a pair of socks for dh's giftie last night.
I took a youtube free 5-day drawing class with Joanna Basford and this is my sketchbook
yesterday I showed them inked in, but then I had to go back and color them too!
For the RSC dark neutrals this month challenge, last week's lozenge block cut offs became this
a simple X for hugs, plus some scrap strips on the side... who knows what this will grow into. Or this one from the orange month, I decided to border in a batik strip scrap
handwork... and fun planning work...

Your Santa piece is so cute - I'll enjoy seeing what you do with it. I've been fascinated by the fun pieces you've made out of the triangle cutoffs from each months lozenge blocks, too. HSTs have so many design possibilities!
I was quite impressed with Johanna’s video and you have drawn her wreath beautifully, LeeAnna. I like the old fashioned kind of look of that Santa. I also love to see how you use improv to have fun with your stitching.
All the stocking plans sound great but the one for Milo had me laughing at the red poodles for the toes!

You're planning some great projects! I think it's great that you can take a free drawing class on YouTube. I can't believe Christmas is less than 2 weeks away. It always comes so fast!
