I like Thursday #179

roosevelt park in Longmont CO
Welcome to this week's list of likes. It's been a good week, and a hard week both, but we're here to list the things I found enjoyable this week. I wrote about connections made on Tuesday's post, and would love you to read about them too:together-tuesdays.

I liked seeing red long-johns hanging on a line to dry
then looking closer and seeing pink flamingos too!
speaking of flamingos Diann gave me the greatest flam. fab that same day!
I liked seeing a chandelier hanging from a tree outside
loved the crystals hanging from the watering can, to represent water

These people made a sign post of their important destinations, and miles to it. I liked seeing GA tech, Purdue, and beaches! Great idea I thought, as well as seeing the dog statue
I liked glancing at this house and noting the curving staircase inside the lovely window
I loved the homes in this historic area and that so many had signs that said they were about love and acceptance not hate and walls.

I liked this tree sculpture made with wood and bike chains
see the chains?

my fascination with elephants and humans continues....this is the piano man playing with a baby...

then there is this tiny baby who is playing got your nose, or wondering why this woman doesn't have a trunk...

MILO"S MOMENTS
I liked finding this toy at the local farm store. And I liked sniffing all the bags there too.
It has a really good squeaker and it flops around when shaken
Now sit!! Stay! visit mama's friends to read their lists!

I totally love the idea with chandeliers in a garden... I hope I can find one too, that has something LOL

Hi LeeAnna! Oh, I am touched by those baby elephant videos. They are both so cute, especially the one with the ball. The little sweetheart is all tuckered out after playing with the ball for a bit. Milo looks so pretty with the giraffe - and it's still in one piece! ~smile~ Roseanne

Glad you found that part of Longmont with all the great older houses! We forgot to talk about where that was the other day. Looks like those homeowners also enjoy funky yard art! That's always fun to see!

I really enjoyed your together Tuesdays post, and it looks like you saw some cool stuff while walking around. I love that red dog sculpture! They look like my kind of people. Those elephant videos are fantastic- they made me smile. I gave Blue his toy yesterday (he can only have it when I'm there) but I think the squeaker is dead, and he tore apart several of its legs. Alas, I think the toy will not last much longer :)

Some really unique and interesting yard displays! The tree sculpture especially caught my eye because of the materials used. How fascinating! Old and beautiful architecture always catches my interest.

Thanks for another great week on your blog :)
Love the chandelier outside! and watering can...they're both fun!

You always find the neatest things on your jaunts. Great yard displays. I have a chandelier that Jeff got me for outside. I had an idea for it. Maybe someday. The watering can with the crystals is great too.

Chandeliers in a garden - who knew, but how fun? You discover so many fun things on your outings. And Milo - that toy is perfect! Enjoy it!

I have to say how much I enjoyed your Together Tuesday post, LeeAnna. How wonderful to meet up with Diann and share a lovely outing together. Meanwhile, you do discover so much to enjoy on your walkabouts. Neighbours of daughters have a sign post too of their favourite places. They are in Florida for the winter as always and sil is keeping an eye on their property for them. Ah Milo is so special and clean...I can't remember the last time Murphy had a real bath, not just a run through the hose.

The tree sculpture is cool. Really like the watering can, too. What a cute little giraffe!

So many interesting things this week! Glad you got to meet up with Diann!!! I love that photo with the red longjohns on the line. I like the color of the house with that red. Hoping you and Milo and Drew have a wonderful week!

Oh my goodness-what an artistic town and I love your sense of really picking up on so many lovelies. The chandelier in the tree is beautiful but my favorite was the watering can! After this very tough news week it is so nice to see pretty things.
Have a wonderful weekend. Mary

I enjoyed your walk, LA. All the art in people's yards got me excited and inspired. Last night I told the Husband that I'm turning all the old and broken garden and hand tools I find around the house into garden art. Whooo-hooo!

...you sure found quirky things, I should tke a walk with you. Thanks for the visit, enjoy your snow,

What an artistic area!

A chandelier hanging in a tree like a wind chime on steroids and the crystal hanging from the watering can is inspired. Glad you had a chance to meet up with Diann (and before another snowstorm, I see). We're in Venice, FL now where it's in the 60's, but sunny, and going back to the 80's by Monday.

I like the red long johns by the green house. A nice color contrast and nothing like the fresh smell of line dried laundry. I like seeing Milo with his Giraffe. He is so handsome. Thanks for linking up!

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to Milo. ♥

LA - what a delight to find all those flamingoes in the neighborhood! The elephant videos were a joy to watch - who doesn't feel better after watching them? I like the idea of a sign in our yard with mileage to some of our favorite places - maybe a project for the summer! Enjoy the rest of your week!

I don't know what neighborhoods you're visiting but I want to go for a walk with you. I swear, the green house looks like the one my grandpa built—there are still cousins living there. The flamingos and red long johns could be from any house on the east side, especially the flamingos, this city has a thing for pink flamingos (did you ever see the movie).
OMG they just showed a Milo dog from Westminister all pimped out on ET saying there was some big controversy. What kind of controversy can a black standard poodle have, can't wait to see.
The tree chandelier and water jewels, brilliant.
