I worked on the prompt for stay at home round robin (animals or live things) row this week
(first, the dragonfly doll was made last year for PQ challenge, she guards my design wall)
My piece for SAHRR this year is one of dragonflies, they have eyes, so I continued in my theme.
my first thought, because I am having trouble with my bodily pain this week, was to cut a row from a print with dragonflies/frogs/and turtles. I started by sewing together the hourglass blocks from another prompt, having to commit to placement. hmmm not sure, what about another print with just dragonflies?
cut a strip of it...
it's there under the hourglass,
confused? me too. Life is hard and scary right now for me... and it's imposing itself into art time
I'll try again tomorrow but for now, I've met the challenge of posting this right
linking with some or all of these

I like all your dragonfly possibilities, and that dragonfly doll is incredible!
Who knew so many dragonfly prints could exist. You certainly have some very cute ones. The colours are great.
Life *is* hard and scary, but with your vivid prose and colorful dragonflies, I have a feeling you'll get through it all okay. I enjoyed reading your post, and catching a glimpse of your creative process. It's coming along nicely!
So sorry your pain is interfering with your creativity! Hopefully those lovely dragonflies will lift your spirits. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

I am so sorry to hear that you are struggling with pain this week. Sending you love and hoping you feel better soon. You have a lot of great dragonfly options that I'm sure will work into your quilt beautifully.
I enjoyed your post as I love dragonflies
You have lots of good choices for this round. Here's hoping the pain subsides soon....thinking of you.
Wow! Lanna that first piece is stunning. I love her so much. Your talent always makes me happy.
You do such incredible and inspiring work, LeeAnna.
I wonder if you could mount your dragonfly doll onto the quilt once it's done? So sorry you're feeling pain - hopefully creativity can take your mind off it, at least somewhat.
