I Like Thursday # 483

welcome to this week's list of likes starting with snow covered mountains and a lovely visit with this horse

snow's melted now, we are having sunny days in the mid 70's instead of cold and snow. I HATE this.

Reports say it's now the trend, due to climate change, luckily I met a nice couple on a walk this week and they moved here for cold too, he said they'll be moving out because this is due to climate change and and they like cold too. It was a blessing that they weren't science deniers

short post today , going to treatment for my back

warm enough for flamingos

and elephants

Conversation Starter this week

do you like red and green? does it lift your spirits? what shades do you like best?

I do like Red and Green in most shades... especially the 50's tones

My granny painted a lot of her wood furniture in the 50's green too. I like a bright true red any time of year, my mixer is red and I enjoy wearing red although I don't have a lot in the closet.

please visit these folk to see what they like

Happy Jolly, good grief miss Molly!
In elementary school a classmate had such a two color horse, and "Gee Whiz" was his name. Thank you for posting so colorfully creative and often.

While I love cold I also love warmth and swimming. I guess I love SEASONS. Lots of contrast. Greens yes - red not so much (unless dirty reds count). Having said that our house will be a dirty shade of red.

Temps in the 70's in December is amazing! Love the elephant balancing on the ball. I love the deep red and the forest green colors for Christmas.

Our snow is disappearing quickly with the 40-50 degree weather we've had. And right now we're getting 60+ mph winds again - woke me about 4:30 this morning and I couldn't go back to sleep. Red is my favorite color. It makes me happy. And I do like most shades of green.

I like your Holly Jolly runner! Last month I bought some new Christmas placemats -- abstract seasonal designs in red, black, and white. Like I don't have enough placemats already.

That's quite a view you have. Do you ever tire of seeing those snow covered peaks in the background?

Our snow is melting today and I know that disappoints those that want a white Christmas - or are hoping to go skiing over the holidays.
I like red - particularly in shoes! I think my name should have been Dorothy. Mind you, with size 11 feet I suppose it's not smart to want to draw attention to them by wearing red shoes.

What a beautiful view - the horse and the mountains! And a flamingo dressed for Christmas - so cute. I love red and green, especially the Christmas red and green. Your Holly Jolly tablerunner is perfect for the season, too!
