i like Thursday # 482 snow, stress, holidays

welcome to this week's list of likes.... I like cold temps and snow, therefore we moved to Colorado... not it's about to be in the 70's in the sun for over a week here.
In December. 5 years ago it was consistently cold and snowy from October on.
We did have a bit of snow...
footprints in the thin layer over the golf course. That became snow lace
and annoying icy snow
and is gone less than a week later now. We MAY have to get out the AC again too.
You know the adhesive stick figures on vans that represent the family? we are seeing lawn ornaments in the form of snow people in people's yards like them

mom, dad, child...

gramma on the post, transparent uncle on the stick, that pig again, who does it fit?
deer families too
don't even want to know who all these represent...
awe, this big boy greets me when I walk by the fence... some days he attacks the fence, sometimes he comes over silently like he's happy to see me.... never know though....
love these deer too...

these light my way home from evening walks
look at those mighty clouds

(c)LAPaylor love the geese formation with clouds at sunset...

selfie anyone?  I LOVE orange cats' personalities!

why am I bawling? I want a dog dog again so much. An adult, non shedding that will love living here with me...

The holidays can be stressful...

What always calms you down when you’re really stressed out and upset?

walking, watching tv, sewing in my studio, but the usual things aren't enough lately are they?

got an answer for me? Please leave it in comments

I'm not sleeping still.... sleep for a couple hours then wake and lay in bed. Try to read, or count sheep but...

 linking with these lovelies....

thank you for being here with me... more next week, lots of fun pics. Sat post is creativity work...

visit these folk to see what they liked this week and join us if you want, let me know your link

You have lots of neighbors who decorate their yards for Christmas! Mom watches lots of Hallmark movies. They make her happy! We hope you get your forever pup soon♥

Love all the snowmen decorations you see on your walk! I loved building snowmen when i was a child.

You're finding lots of fun yard decorations lately! I love the snowman family. Beautiful cloud photos, too. The cat in the video running up to hug the dog made me smile. I need the same things to relieve stress - a walk, some sewing, and funny videos that make me smile!

Nice neighborhood you live in. Wonderful post. Have a nice day today.

Lots of decorations in your neighborhood. Ours has lots of lights, but almost no lawn decorations. We had lovely white snow but today we're getting freezing rain and sleet. And sometimes it changes to snow - like right now. It's so slippery out. Reading and sewing are my main stress relievers. Today I'm trying to count my own blessings as friends struggle. One of my best friends took her husband to the ER on Monday evening. He had a mild stroke. And one of my husband's besties has Huntington's and has gone down hill very quickly in the last month. This guy is only in his 50s, but has watched 2 siblings die of this horrible disease. So - I'm just trying to remind myself how fortunate I am right now.

I don't like the cold weather these days but I do love Christmas decorations. We have a snowman family in our front yard too. Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

Nice decorations, I particularly liked the large ornaments in front of the porch. I will happily give you my share of the cold and snow, as I count down to Spring and warm weather.

I've seen a lot of those snow people popping up around time but I hadn't likened them to the widow stick figures. I must admit those are a lot nicer than all those inflatables that cost a fortune and look like junk (IMHO anyway)

I like the snow people/families. Cute! I don't see those around here. Thank you for linking up and have a great weekend.

You found so many great decorations! We've had snow already too and that has also become quite icy. I haven't seen snow families around here yet. Such great clouds in your pictures!
