I finished my scrappy Christmas strings piece, as a table runner, maybe to be hung vertically who knows, I have a year to decide LOL!
Pieced the back of the 24.5" XX 14.5" top, and got it ready for machine binding. A gold on green stripe all sewn by machine this time
sewn to the back, brought to the front, tucking in the raw edge for machine straight stitch finish withBRATTY mylar thread for top stitching
time for a cup of tea first...
time for a cup of tea first...
came out pretty
time to quilt and finish Pat's gift now that the hexies are hand sewn together to look like a garden
will this book loving lady go on the back?a finish,... is a finish.... celebrate that!
This year I hope to renew making with paint, pencil, weaving, photography, beading.... and more art quilting.
I'll share my plans for a new link party next week.... stay tuned and get ready...
I take many photos on walks and plan to begin manipulating them artistically in the upcoming months
the rooftops look like mountain plateau don't they?I have always loved sandra boynton cards and now she makes the best videos... LOVE...

Hope you enjoyed your Christmas and wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous new year. The Christmas creation looks wonderful and looking at your photos I'm finally contemplating finding out about those clip things that you and others use for holding pieces for sewing.
