another week of likes, thanks for joining me!
I like having a lot of quilts to change out during different seasons. The sweater quilt stands for January, which luckily has given us several snows that remain covering our lawns like white blankets.
I like flax and oatmeal on cold days, with some peanut butter mixed in, and a cup of coffee,
One of the hundred times a day I think of Milo and miss him.... mama's beautiful boy
Who's gonna lick that peanut butter jar clean?
I loved this book this week, and the reader had the best accents
It is a YA story I think but with so much for adults. Magical in it's way, the way families are odd and loving and funny all mixed together. I give it 5 stars and two thumbs up. It's not too long and so full of life.I'm watching escapist TV
Deal or No deal island, Real housewives of NYC, The Way Home on Hallmark (love me some time travel) The new season of Virgin River on Netflix (so much to love here)
I love Plantain chips but accidentally ordered the salt free version. They need salt
I finished the Project Quilting for this week in 3 days learning more about that spare machine along the way, and happy that DH could read the online service manual and fix the feed dogs for me
I started the second embroidery kit a couple nights ago and it's a good way to not think of pain. please visit these folks to see what they liked this week

I love yourt work.. it has something from holidays in greece... even when we never saw a mermaid..
Love the sweater quilt! I was at the University Hospital yesterday having a test done and spent some time after looking at the abundant art displayed on the hospital's main floor. One installation similar to your idea showed the same "coat of comfort" represented in different medias -- quilted, painted, etc.
I love your sweater quilt! So pretty!
I love Kate DiCamillo! I used to read a lot of YA when I was teaching, and she was a favorite. You might like her book Because of Winn Dixie, too - that's one of my favorites. That dragonfly embroidery looks fun!
Again, so sorry for your loss. We just had our sweet Mavis, Cheeweenie of 8lbs. put to sleep a week ago after about 11 years of her being our baby. she was about 13 and her health had just failed so much. My husband was had feeding her with a spoon at the end and if he moved her and she wasn't ready she would bite him. So goes don't bite the hand that feeds you. But with only 4 teeth it did not matter. Such good memories.
You do keep your hands and creative spirit busy! Great colors.
Love your sweater quilt and I also love Virgin River and I wish the episodes would never end!
I just requested that audiobook from our library; thanks for the suggestion. I love both your quilts.
