Evergreen.
To be honest it's not the easiest color to use in May although my birthday is this month, and the birthstone is emerald.
I adore emeralds.
The silly thing is, I pulled out two scrap bins of green. I thought, hmph, where are all the really small pieces I use for these diamonds??? I started piecing smaller strips then "found" a bin of smaller green scraps all by itself.
OMG Really? I might have too many green scraps but who gets the ax? Who is sent off the island? This shot shows you the general size of the nine diamonds when sewn together.

Your diamond star is shaping up beautifully.
I suspect that all the greens will get the rotary cutter and none of them will get sent of the island.

Don't send them off the island! Sew together and make more diamonds in green =) I know you can come up with some very neat ideas for them.....

The more of these you do the more I like them. It's the best sort of idea: really simple on one level, yet because of all your scraps really complex at the same time.
