another conversation starter, do you do Spring Cleaning?
I do an amended clean, but it's not Spring yet here, it seems to bank from HOT to cool last week
I sporadically do deep cleans on areas like baseboards, mirrors, ceiling fans however have been dormant collecting dust for months so I clean them thoroughly before turning back on. Not an easy task on the 2 story family room, I have to lean over the upstairs railing with an extended swiffer pole...

"ALL DONE" is sometimes a trick.... it's just so the mommy can see your hair cut from a distance, then you might have to come back for some more snip--- snip---snips.
But, there is no reward as good as a happy mommy who says, Awe in that singsong voice, and
"I L O V E you" while petting your clean hair

Love the pretty pink tulips and the other pink flowers look like peonies to me. Mom ordered an early mothers day gift for herself a couple of weeks ago and it was a t-shirt but not with a Poodle. It had a Duke on it! Your birdie video had my full attention, Alfie!
I read somewhere that listening to birdsong is so soothing and calming for us because, deep in our bones from our ancestral memory, we remember that birds only sing when they are safe and all is well.
Those pink flowers are peonies--practically a requirement here in the midwest! And I would think making your own poodle shirt like that would be right up your alley!
The pink tulips are so pretty. I wish tulips lasted longer. The pink peonies make me think of my grandmother. She had a whole row of them along the sidewalk to her house. The sound of birds is soothing to me too.

It has been so overcast and drizzly lately ( well needed rain!) so I sadly haven't heard much bird song as yet. We usually try to go for a Mother's Day Brumch as an extended family, so no gifts other than that, but your ideas are cute!
