| bye bye leaves |
welcome to this week's list of likes. I have been very out of commission from pain and jumping vision so this might be quite short. Please visit others and on with my offerings
loved how this house looked in late afternoon sun... like a monopoly house!Took down Halloween decorations and put up Thanksgiving dec plus kitchen towels
Time to hunt for Thanksgiving quilts
Need to find warm clothes because this heat can't continue forever. We had the irrigation pipes in our yard blown out already.
Last weekend we found our backyard neighbor's dog in our yard, never found how, the dog tried to bite us, and the neighbor was gone. Left a message, put out water, closed our door. Eventually the little biting machine found his way out of our front gate alone, snarled at us as he walked by, headed to his house. The owner called 2 days later and said the dog was sitting on the front lawn when his adult son came home.
OY!
time changed messing us up for sleeping, rising and dining. The gas company has dug up all gas lines a month ago and still at it in our area. Bet they increase prices when they finish.
a joke
this lovely dog is available in Texarkana
Conversation starter, what podcasts do you listen to?
I like podcasts in general, especially on long car trips. There is a massive list at Apple podcssts and others,,, we used to listen to Wait wait don't tell me, on trips and Futility Closet was a fave but they are gone now. You were given info and had to figure out the issue. I'd love to replace that with something.
the world of podcasts was too much for me, so I gave up. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
how about this wall hanging? cute !

Exciting that you may have a new dog by March, fingers crossed! I've been enjoying Elsbeth's 3rd season too. The episodes, plots, characters, and fashions are all so crazy, but FUN! That Halloween episode with all the My Fair Lady costumes took the cake!
I've listened to a few NPR and other podcasts about books over the years, but I don't seek them out regularly. I can see their benefits, though, as I had some recent eye trouble and found I enjoyed listening to audiobooks through the library. The gourd cartoon in your post made me laugh!
Thank you for including me dear! I am enjoying seeing your seasonal post today. We are going into our slightly Rainier less hot season. Winter can be beautiful in Hawaii! Love you. Thanks aloha

Hope you are feeling better. Your pictures of Fall are gorgeous, wish we had that kind of color here.
Love the "snow globe" cartoon..gave me a giggle.
I guess its time to add a few things to Fall ie. Thanksgiving decor before it turns into Christmas. I'm always a day late and a buck short..or how ever that saying goes.

I hope your pain begins to go away soon. I used to listen to several education podcasts, but just haven't gotten into any new interesting ones since retiring from teaching. My girls have both been listening to various health and wellness podcasts although I guess I don't know if that is still happening now that their kids are so busy with school things. I have my fall things out, and have been working on a couple of Christmas things.
I love your Thanksgiving mantel! I can't find my little pilgrim people - must have put them somewhere really safe. 😬 Like everyone else, I'm wishing you some relief from pain and a new dog to love!
I have never listened to a podcast before but I'm always listening to music. I hope you get your new best friend soon.
I'm so hoping you get your dog soon! I also hope you will be feeling better. I love your decorations!
You will get a dog soon, just keep the faith!! I listened to "Wilder" on Spotify - I use the free download which is safe. It is about the real life of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Interesting! Thank you for linking up.
I sure hope you are feeling better soon and a dog moves in with you soon, that would be terrific. Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
The winds this week certainly blew away all our leaves! I can't believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
