welcome to my creative world... it's been hard to overcome a lot of physical issues but I did finish this Autumn quilt, my interpretation of a pumpkin photo, in little saved Fall scraps! I LOVE IT!
Quilts don't always come out the way I see them in my mind but this one came out even better!

these are all from the fall tiny scrap collection (the bag is now marginally less stuffed)
The stem is two scraps overlapped and cut into a stem shape, love the dimensionality do you?
so...in November I made a needlebook, a tote purse for walks, this and am started on this scrap project
will the person who stitched these blocks please stand up for credit??? The fabric is so pretty... hope I turn it into something as pretty!
I thought it might work for the Stay at Home Round Robin in 2026... hmmmm?
so here goes
what sewing items do you want for Christmas ??? Are you making anything special this year? Next up for me a tree skirt. (I seldom wear skirts nowadays lol)
Speaking of gorgeous fabrics, my friend Miss Pat sent me a box, which lifted my spirits tremendously
3 (!!!) flamingo patterns, an elfa mat, and SO many pretties... I washed them and am sorting them now

Skies, Colors, Stars
Tropical scenes, Sheep, Dog bones and dogs, MORE plus of course since she is a good friend....
COWS!!! along with pretty colors to use, all small squares to yardage! HOW Thrilling! How to thank her....

Your Autumn Pumpkin quilt is indeed outstanding art! And I enjoyed that delightful little video, too.
OMG! I made a triangle block quilt with those same fabrics! I did NOT send my leftovers to you, but such a surprise to see those same fabrics, used in the same way! Also--love that pumpkin quilt!
Your pumpkin turned out amazing!! I like the way you managed to include the light source and shadows.
It's wonderful to get a squishy package in the mail isn't it. As for what sewing things I might want for Christmas, I'd be happy if I got anything sewing related at all.
You are right that the finished quilts don’t always turn out the way we had envisioned them, but your pumpkin is wonderful. I love the way you did the stem, and the quilting really conveys the pumpkin shape!
The pumpkin quilt really did turn out beautifully. For several years, my husband has bought me a generous gift certificate to my favorite local quilt shop as my Christmas gift. Usually I use it for something big, like a kit I wouldn't have treated myself to otherwise.

Your pumpkin quilt is delightful! I had to enlarge the final photo and look around at all the fun prints. It looks like it was a lot of fun to play with! And I loved the frog video, too - so sweet.
Your pumpkin is delightful. I'm glad my late birthday package lifted your spirits. It was fun to go through my scraps and stash looking for themes I know you like. And the flamingo patterns came from the stash of a dear quilting friend who died last year. She spent the winters in FL, so she accumulated a lot of tropical themes. Maybe Santa will bring you a new sewing machine for Christmas so you can do more of the creative sewing you so enjoy.
