living a creative life sewing by hand, painting on paper, using a fountain pen

I was able to finish this month's EPP project in Aqua. I love this color, hard to define and I like all shades of blue green. This is fabric scrap basted to a paper shape, then edges sewn by hand.

I used two dotted fabrics for hexies, this time, scrap wasn't large enough for all hexies this time

(the color of the month at rainbow scrap challenge is aqua)

you can see the blue shade is different from aqua

I started using my Fude nib fountain pen this wee, 

the butterfly will inspire my own fabric pattern  and the bottom is my first attempt at using the pen

Italian word of the day: Il Quadro: painting

 I painted this week on my index card a day challenge

I did this one just for fun, no prompt,  a pun

I used this image on google as inspiration for my sketchbook drawing

 using the Fude nib fountain pen to sketch the building. I'm not experienced at buildings or this pen

I'm satisfied with this effort... I like the pen and ink

    The blue next to the aqua does such a nice job of showing the difference between the two shades. Such beautiful geometry!

    Your EPP project looks great. The 2 different dotted fabrics are hardly noticeable from here. I had to look really long and hard! ICAD drawings this week are great!

    Love the teal and blue blocks (lace blocks) together. This will be one gorgeous quilt. And that pen looks like you are enjoying it...and are you really thinking of designing fabric??? I haven't tried spoonflower yet, but one day I will.

    Yu can't be lost if you don't know where you're going....interesting, as a person who gets lost easily and then panics, I must try and remember that. LOVE the aqua. You're also so busy, so creative with interesting projects. Keep on keeping on.

    Those EPP blocks you're making are pretty in every color! It's always fun to see the things you create with ink, paint, and paper, too. "Have Standards" made me laugh!

    agua is one of the most healing colors to me. that magic color somewhere near near turquoise and sky!
    pen and ink is a great way to make you own coloring book!
    neat pen, must investigate, soon.
