I LIke Thursday # 225

 

I like Cookies especially sugar cookies. I tried a new recipe and put hershey's peppermint kisses on them!

I tried a cream cheese cookie recipe too, and we LOVE them

we made salmon for Christmas dinner and I like having a friend (pugmom Nancy) who's husband Mike  is a great cook, telling me how to prepare it.

 put parchment paper on the baking sheet, mixed sea salt and fresh ground pepper, sprinkled that on and put a pat of butter on top. Bake for 10 min, add lemon slices and bake til internal temp is reached!

Tomorrow we hope to have traditional black eyed peas for luck, collar greens to bring us money, and sweet things.

I loved sharing a zoom game night with our friends Rose and Bob this week. We all had a glass of wine of our choice, snacks and played trivia. 

Milo's Moments

I mean who doesn't like the sound of shredding paper??? I got a new lamb ball, a fox skin toy, and a kong bone toy which is being taste tested above!  And had to be taken out back to see it's new yard!

    Your cookies look yummy, and thanks for sharing the recipe for the cream cheese ones! The salmon looks great, too. I love Elin Hilderbrand's books - don't think I've read that one, so will have to look for it. Happy New Year to you three!

    Your salmon looks so yummy!! I've been hungry for salmon lately and may try that method next time. I got a big kick out of how dainty Milo was being as he tried to open that present. Happy New Year!!

    Milo is too cute opening his new Kong toy! Rufus loves his too, though he's tried to eat it...he's such a strong chomper, sigh. Trying new cookies is something I did, though they are 'old' as in shortbread that my mum always made and that we LOVED. They turned out very well! I am passing on the salmon recipe to my husband. Seems weird to say Happy New Year, so how about Healthy New Year? :-) Thank you so much for hosting these and allowing us to drop in when it works for us.

    That Milo is just too funny! He is a beautiful boy! The cookies and the salmon look delicious. I love your idea to put a peppermint kiss in the center of the sugar cookies.

    Your cookies look delicious. Your baked salmon recipe sounds pretty much like mine. I try to have salmon once a week. Milo has real enthusiasm, and I'm finding it contagious :)

    Happy New Year! I found a recipe right before Christmas for Cream Cheese white chocolate cranberry cookies. I loved the slight tartness that came from the cream cheese! Milo is so funny playing with his toys. I need to order a kong for Spooky....
