The poodle is sleeping...your call is important to me, leave a message and a treat at the beep...
I am preparing for Snow-Pocalypse coming at the end of the week.
Gathering my strength with lots of naps and treats. (Oh, and I guess this picture is proof that I DO fit in this family room bed after all). See, I'm wasting away to nothing when I need ALL my strength for the snowstorm to come.
First an eye opener...
Who could forget SNOW!
A poodle with naturally curly
Don't get me wrong, there is nothing more fun than a romp in the snow. I love to dig, to chase a stick, and love the cold in general. After a while though the snow forms ice balls in my hair, and when I come back in the house, momma makes me lay on a towel to thaw.
The We-don't-know-weather predictors are saying it could be a heavy/light/deep/melting/ snowstorm.
What's a poodle to do? Gather more kibble, make sure there are enough treats, gather my toys, fluff up the beds, wash the coats, and above all keep the people calm.

How exciting!
ReplyDeleteWe love snow, snow cookies, extra time with the parents....
ReplyDeleteOooh, the anticipation---you definitely need your naps to gather your strength...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteLook at that face - you are adorable! I have Bichons so the snow just clings to their fluff and curls, too. We can relate. :)
ReplyDeleteI never thought about snowballs. I suppose that would be a problem for a pretty poodle, huh? Hope they melt with speed!
ReplyDeleteJean from Welcome to the Menagerie
Dear Cole - please take good care of yourself and your peeps! I hope it's just a lil' ol' dusting of snow.
ReplyDeleteLove your snow beard! I have the same problem!!! :)
ReplyDeletePiggy shivers. Snow is cold. I'm with you - let's stay inside cuddled up sleeping near the fire place? XOXO - Bacon
ReplyDeleteChloe loves the cold, but the Bad Basset Boyz HATE being cold. They much prefer the sofa or the warm sunshine spots. Yet they eat squirrels.......go figure.
ReplyDeleteI've been following the news reports and can't even imagine the chaos they keep talking about. Be safe Cole and have some fun in the snow for the Boys.
ReplyDeleteAnd sounds like a good time for grilling cheese sandwiches!
ReplyDeleteStay safe and warm!!!
ReplyDeleteWell snowpocalypse did show up as predicted - except we were only supposed to get rain, and got snow after all! More Treats is the way to go :)
