Inspiration

Isn't this staircase amazing?!

I started blogging, not quite two years ago now and doesn't Time Fly....??

when you're in the studio making art....
or when you're enjoying an outing with your husband and poodle

Everything you do, and see, and experience goes into what you make...
You just have to decide what you want to express on this day.
Whatever you choose, let it be personal and meaningful.
If you are new to my blog, there are labels over on the right for more lovely posts on living the creative life including overcoming roadblocks, poodle posts, outings and events, interviews with artists. Enjoy

  6. Hi LeeAnna!
I'm super excited! I finally can follow you on my Bloglovin site! Your posts would always just get drowned out in my email. But not anymore! No more missed Cole stories, no more lack of encouragement to create with my own voice, no more missing great art from one of my fave creators! Like purple cows, seriously? Count me in! I know I love this person immediately! And of course all of your creativity. Shew, a big sigh of relief. I will quit gushing like a geek fan girl seriously crushing now and just say, I am so glad that I can finally, truly follow your wonderful blog.
And, yes, those stairs are amazing. I think I had a whole section in my Houz Account on painted stairs. I love them. Like doing book spines, or just fabulous color. Alas, the house we bought is lacking stairs... I will have to look around for other places to put these great ideas.
Hug Cole for me, big hi to Hubs, and, of course, a jolly good morning to you! love your tea pot. Have you revealed the quilt with the purple cow yet? If you did I missed it. I'll look.

  7. The stairs look fun, but I can picture myself after awhile trudging up them going "Nag, nag, nag..." 8)

  9. Thanks for sharing! A recent speaker at my guild talked about her sources of inspiration and she made a comment that stuck with me. She told us, "Inspiration isn't some outside force that strikes you," and she advised us to "Go out into the world and LOOK for inspiration and you'll find it." I agree with you that everything you do and see goes into what inspires you. Thanks for a great post.
