Not Afraid of Color: I Like Thursday #481 games, cookies, etc

well, here we are again, another week of likes to share! starting with lawns seen on my walks

awe.... I like this short video series.... frog finds a friend

fun short video... I feel somehow like I worked with this creature as a human (What she did at work)

this yard has a LOT of stuff plus two very cute doggies that come to visit with me

No pic but two more white doggies barked at us this week, and their person came out for a chat

Really nice woman, visiting from Florida with two cute white pups one was a shihtzu poodle.... the woman was so fun to chat with... and because her pups are so small they fly with them...

not dogs but look like them... or cousin IT from Addams family, LOL

speaking of food, and who isn't?

we finally got snow after about 300 days, so I baked. I plan to bake cookies a few times a week, freeze a lot of them for Christmas week and we'll have a tray of many types

but for now it was a lovely cherry sugar cookie, and I added mini chocolate chips so it's like a chocolate covered cherry....cookie

also baked a loaf of cinnamon swirl bread, candied pecans, hamburger buns, zucchini bites

candied pecans, easy peasy

zucchini bites nice to have on hand for a hot snack. Made 18 in the little muffin tin

had the last of the sweet potato casserole Wed night....

Conversation starter for this week:

what fun board games have you've played? Do you have any games you always do when people gather at Christmas time? any funny stories about that? ( I want to get a new one for us this year)

I like most board games I've played and miss our game group in MD so much... it's just us here, so we need a new game two people can play.

even a card game... we do love cribbage by the way, so help me out!

Oh, my family used to play a card game called Oh Hell but it's more fun with more than two of us...
