t is for chooseday

my friend sent tea bags to me to try and I really like this brand

I have been watching all the videos by Mandy Patikin's son of his mom and dad at home during quarantine and I am in love with them. Here he is being his dog...

I have enjoyed watching all their videos...

I've been trying to catch up on the Sketchbook Revival and Textile Artist videos... and seem to be dividing my time between painting, sewing and baking these days.

much darker than in this picture
food and sketching!

In keeping with the T is for Tuesday crowd here are my sewn wine bottle blocks this month.

I'm making two in the colors suggested by the Rainbow Scrap Challenge each month and by the end of the year I'll have enough for a table runner. These represent two of our fave wineries back east, Goose Watch and Chateau Morrisette who bottle in blue bottles!

T stands for Tuesday... like a "drink' post

  2. Putting those amazing wine bottle blocks into a table runner is such a great idea. And how very special that you can make each one be a memory of something you've enjoyed.

  4. Love the wine bottle blocks, and what a great looking table runner they will make! I also split my time mostly between cooking and baking, and some form of art. Your pear art is so lovely. Happy T day!

  6. Your in-progress table runner looks like a great project. Remembering good wine is second only to actually drinking it!

  9. That video made me laugh so loud. How silly. Your sketching is great. I love the little bird. How sweet. I also love the dog on the quilted wine bottle. Hope you had a great T day and Milo had a good day too.

  10. I was also gifted with some stash tea, but mine was not jasmine. I love those wine bottles. If I could collect blue bottles, I would actually drink the wine (or give it away). It's the bottle that attracts me.

That dog video was hilarious. I love Mandy Patikin, anyway. And I'm glad you enjoyed the Sketchbook Project. I only found one lesson I even wanted to see. You draw and sketch, though, so this was made for you. Thanks for sharing your tea, your wine bottle fabric blocks, and the video and sketches you shared with us for T this Tuesday, dear LeeAnna.

  12. I can't wait to show my husband one of the Mandy Patinkin clips where he says his wife is mean and vicious while they are trying to rearrange the furniture. I need to watch more of them when I can find the time. Love your wine bottles. It's snowing here and I'm bummed out.

  15. Great videos I appreciate your nice comment at my blog My Tata's Cottage. My grandmother's younger sister was my Tatat Rose and I loved them both dearly. They came from Yugoslavia k/n/a/ sLOVEnia and that was their term of endearment for "Aunt". Blogger keeps taking everything away from us. It is so very frustrating. I am glad I stopped by. Thank you for sharing.

  17. Hi LeeAnna, Thanks so much for your visit, just came back on to say my husband hasn’t had a sore arm or any illness, he had the Pfizer one so he has his second on May 11th, our DIL said she felt so ill after her second one, unfortunately she had taken our GSs to a museum in San Francisco, she said she couldn’t wait to get home. Hope you are feeling better now
