welcome to paint party fridays!
The birdie pic was done quickly in my sketch book. I love the attitude, forward and interested, singing it's song, ready to fly. Can't you just see the tail twitching?
I feel these paintings just show up to amuse me, although I'm the one doing them!! (cool)
I sketched a quick (two minutes max) face each day this week, adding wise cracks
so they are rough, and poor placement but there is value in sketching in pen and not looking back!
I tore up some mixed media paper, painted some free form flowers, then used marker over them. Painted a green line to show under the torn edge and
This is the back of the card of flowers... it's going to be my new "chop" or representational image!

I love the flower card...I remember the time the markers came up. I was so egg-cited and used them for everything... even for face painting what my parents found less amusing LOL
ReplyDeleteTweet nicely is nice indeed. His pose is my favourite though wise cracks is the neatest idea.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, I loved your likes list. Isn't that funny to think there is nothing and just a look round the house, and there is so much. I must ask which mascara you found does not irritate your eyes cause I have an issue with that too. Milo as supervisor of the parts department remind me of Murphy in her younger days...quite possessive of certain raggedy things. No more though. And poor Rex never played or got attached to anything...crate living till we got him which is sad. However, we have made up for it all in so many other ways. :)
Tweet is awesome and your paintings are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your singing bird and your colorful flowers. Happy PPF!
