I know NOTHING about those papers...
Let me see them closer... hand over the evidence
willful destruction of property |
well.
They do smell a bit like my spit.
Only, I have a busy life you know and I have little self control and I have only a few minutes at a time where I can concentrate and I don't spend it remembering! There's a lot to do around here.
What? What papers?
oh.
Welllllllllllll, I suppose a dog could have found some papers on the table, and might have thought his paw-rents no longer wanted them since they were lying around on said table, and maybe they slipped off the table to the floor when a nose touched them, and possibly got chewed up accidentally when the dog's teeth got tangled up in them.
Yeah, that's my story, I'm sticking to it.
Are we done yet? Can we please go for a walk and forget all about this nasty business and the waterboarding that went on...
LeeAnna: What!!! You'd better stop that! You know you got in the sprinklers all by yourself!
Tell the truth! Those wet curls didn't show up all by themseles!
Heyyyyy, stop manhandling me! You know I can't lie while looking into your eyes! Besides what is truth anyway?
I'll think about what happened and I'm sure everything will work out for the best, what's say you put those little torn papers in the recycling, let's move on and learn what we can from the incident, forgive and forget. (I won't tell anyone about you're leaving papers around on the table) and hey....
Isn't it time for a walk??? I'd say we both deserve one after that little
Do you think people might have on their sprinklers? I need a drink!
truth is overrated.... and I lie like a carpet too... or maybe we are lie-ons so we can lie on and on instead to roar?
ReplyDeleteOh Milo - just like having a toddler in the house. But you just need to give mom a little kiss/lick and I'm sure you are forgiven.
ReplyDeleteHi Milo,
ReplyDeleteIt is all your paw-rents fault for leaving papers around. Same thing with shoes or anything they don't want chewed. Geez - I would have thought you have them all taught and smart by now. We can give them a little break - some people learn at different speeds, and they are stressed about finding a house/moving. So keep your patience, good boy, and keep working with them. ~smile~ Roseanne
LOL. There's so many versions of the truth.
ReplyDeleteWell, Milo, when the pawrents allow you to chew up magazines and catalogs, etc., they can hardly expect you to ignore loose papers hanging around. The sprinklers OTOH, what's up with that? Be kind to Mama. She's a little stressed out right now.
ReplyDeletePat
Heh, heh. Personally, I'd say the neighborhood cat was responsible but that's just me.
