Welcome to this week's list of likes!
I Like flowers in vases..
and flowers in pots....
and this vintage car I passed on our walk one morning....
and these ducks who took advantage of the pool before it opens to throngs of children...
they were in the pool before I walked up to take the picture.
it's too quacking hot! |
A woman learns about her father after he passes away, including his other family. She is an intriguing character, just starting her career life, and now discovering who she is in other ways as well.
I read in bed, and can't wait to get to the book each night.
I liked this birthday card
from our poodle loving friend Monika. I did a post on her studio as she's also an artistic type.
There's an adorable pic of Cole in Annapolis with a pink scooter HERE
I like watching Milo play with Carly.
I really like her pawrents... her Mama is also an artist (I'll do a studio interview soon) and her Daddy makes great lemoncello and conversation!
Gotcha MIlo! |
watching a race this weekend |
Barking out loud! Can it be thursday already?
I have to say I love the ladies... heh heh... I have them all over the neighborhood waiting for me to walk by like Pepe Le Pew (see one cartoon ( on youtube HERE! )
Mama and Daddy chatted to Carly's pawrents while she and I romped. At this point, we'd been mulching a bush in the garden when her daddy yelled, "Hey you two! Stop that!"
So we turned and looked at what caused the problem... did he want to chew on it himself?
I liked this jeep, and asked if I could drive it...
I am fascinated with cars and kids and bikes...
Mama, (who is old) says it reminded her of this song (oh my bags are packed...)
It got hot here, and despite Mama shaving nearly ALL my hairs off, I get hot. Being a smart boy, I flop down, right where I am, in shade mid-walk if necessary.
My pawrents have not enough sense to come in out of the sun so they pull on me to keep walking.
Mama laughed where I flopped down, right next to that sign.
That's it for this week, sit! Stay! clickety click on these links to other people keeping it paws-itive this week!

Hi LeeAnna,
ReplyDeleteWow - our group is growing! How fabulous! That vintage car is SWEET. My first car - '65 Mustang - is vintage now, and it was just plain old when I drove it. I wish I had kept it - it was a convertible and very cool! Aww Milo - did he want to chew on the bush himself?! Yup, I bet he did and was jealous he wasn't down there by you two. I can totally see you as a ladies man - and only improving with age. ~smile~ Roseanne
I forgot to say Happy Mother's Day! {{Hugs}}
Delete~smile~ Roseanne
Love that car! mary in Az
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful for the kids to have a friend, isn't it? Happy Mawspaws day!
ReplyDeleteNow "Leaving 9n a Jet Plane" is going through my head! Glad Milo is having fun with all the girls! Pretty flowers and car. I'll have to check out that author!
ReplyDeleteI love leaving on a jet plane.... I like the John Denver version, but I grew up listening to the Roger Whittaker cover, so as strange as it is, that's always the version I think of.
ReplyDeleteI actually like old cars very much, never tire of seeing them. Just look at the fins on that one! Milo is doing a good job of getting his parents out and about. But it looks like it's hot there already.
ReplyDeleteI have read one other book by Rhys and will note this one. Thanks.
I love the car...especially the color! My Husband restores cars and will love seeing your photo.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Ford Fairlane! I've seen the book before and it does look interesting. Nice shots all.
ReplyDeleteMy first car was a baby blue 1960 Ford Fairlane. But it never looked that cool.
ReplyDeleteI have flowers in a vase right now, and flowers in pots on the back deck and the front porch. They make everything look cheery.
Back in the day, I had a Fairlane. Not as pretty as this one though!! I was on the look out for a new author, thanks for sharing this, I'll start it soon. Don't you love the library!!
ReplyDeleteDaisy, Jessie & Tony would love to play with Milo!
You had me with flowers, dogs, and a fabulous vintage car!
ReplyDeleteThat old care is so cool and the pool does look like a fun place to hang out. I see you're having some fun Milo! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteSo much to like on this post. The Male Human loved the car pics and the Female Human says the flower and duck photos are her favorite.
ReplyDeletePurrs & Head Bonks,
Alberto
and you had me at Fairlane!
ReplyDeleteMy mom had a 1958 Ford Fairlane in the color of a Three Musketeers bar, a two tone mocha and chocolate combo, that i drove to my orthodontists appointments. a boyfriend showed me how to remove air filter for a throaty driving sound! Milo middle man could be JOY as in "Joy to the world!!"
That car is fantastic! What a ride! Thanks for linking up today and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWow - so many blogs to read. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Tuscan Child is on my reading list - I hope to get to it soon. Neat car. Fun ducks. Playful pups! Love that birthday card.
Such a cute post - love the vintage car and of course, Milo. The last photo is so funny! Little kids have the best toys these days. x Karen
ReplyDeleteThe car is great, gorgeous flowers. Do you think Milo knows that he was not supposed to be there and was being a bit of a rebel. His new friend is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteI like anything by Rhys Bowen!!! We were shopping today for a few items for the house, and I just kept seeing flamingoes every where. You have infected me!!! (p.s. we did not buy any)
ReplyDeletegreat photos! and the dogs are amazing!:):)
ReplyDelete...I sure like that '57 Ford Fairlane! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list. I just sent the last 2 Rhys Bowen historical novels to my Mom for her bday and Mother's Day and she was thrilled. After I'd read them I knew I had to buy her copies as I'd only borrowed mine from the library.
ReplyDeleteNeat looking Vintage Car, Both of your dogs are so cute. It's neat they enjoy each other's company so much. - Reading in Bed is fun. I read almost every night before I go to bed.
ReplyDeletemakes my day, sweet vase and greatest dog
ReplyDelete😍 Hope your birthday was extra special. Happy Dog-Mom's Day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! I love that car too. Thank you for joining the Pet Parade.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love the old Ford...shades of my youth (not that I ever had one, but I could gaze in hope) and of course I love Milo. His lady-friend is very pretty, too. Thanks for sharing, my friend!
