Milo here for my "Milo's Moment" this week. I liked my new toy lamb... I like it a lot...

In fact I wanted to take my new lambie on a walk one evening.
Daddy said, "no Milo let it rest here".
HERE??? Why someone could TAKE it! It's very valuable!
I fought him tooth and nail to come back and get the lamb. It wanted to go too! I didn't need a baby stroller or anything, I could carry it in my BIG POODLE TEETH! I fought he and Mama the whole 2 mile walk because they didn't listen to me!
The very minute I got back in the door, I stopped biting them and ran to the lamb and picked it up, and threw it in the air (it loves that ) and carried it around so it didn't feel lonely getting left behind like that.
Then I chewed off a leg, and a tail.
I mean they own one in Maryland, and we're renting one here, so how many do we need? I can only stink up one at a time! So, after they looked inside and came out sad, I cheered them up with a runaround in the nearby park!
Feels good to run full speed doesn't it?

ReplyDeleteOh those carrots lining the walkway along with the bunnies are so cute! Our grass here is so brown, and usually it is covered with snow so I don't notice it. Very soon everything will be green again, and you won't be able to see the bird nests! Sweet Milo. Enjoy that lamb baby, and don't bite Mama. ~smile~ Roseanne
Great saying. Love your fabric acquisitions. Bobbin has a lamb too. Along with a bunch of cat jingle balls that she love. Oh and don't even start about the bugs.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you like the scraps. :) I didn't look at them carefully, just grabbed a couple handfuls and packed them. 'So funny that old Dresden project was in there. :) Those are the rejects for a block I sewed up to be included in a commentary modern quilt. Not sure the ones you got are cut correctly so you'd better check. :)

ReplyDeleteThose carrots are beyond adorable. Wow, it really is stark out your way! Because water is such a premium in Colorado, and especially along the Plains, trees aren't common unless planted there. Back in the 1920's Mayor Stapleton started a beautification program by planting trees along streets. Older neighborhoods are the lucky beneficiaries of mature trees now. 🌳

ReplyDeleteI had a favorite stuffed sheep when I was a kid, I think named BaaBaa. Oddly enough, it has a wind-up music box that played "How Much is that Doggie in the Window?" I was a bit more gentle on the ears and legs, though. :-)
Such a cheerful post - I couldn't stop smiling during Milo's Minute - his character comes through loud and clear - how can anyone be down when Milo's around for entertainment? Except maybe the lamb which is now missing a couple of body parts!

ReplyDeleteGotta admire dog reasoning: I love my lamb so I'm going to chew pieces off. Our little Bonnie has jaws of steel, and has only recently chewed right through her black Kong dog-bone. I'm sure it's only a matter of time until she chews up her black Kong tire, the one she uses when playing fetch with my husband. Sometimes he can't find it, so he can't fetch it, and she loves that part. After all, she can always find it because The Nose Knows! Hugs from Bonnie to Milo!
