I look good, right? |
First of all, I survived.
Yet another senseless grooming day.
I mean what's with my peeps? What's the obsession with cleanliness and smell?
I mean... take a look at that carnage! I felt like the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz after the witch took him apart ("parts of me are over here, and parts of me are over there!!)
Don't tell the peeps, but it does feel better to be clean and fluffy. Cooler too. But do they have to touch my feet so much? Sheesh!
After that ordeal, I requested room service, just to settle my jangled nerves...
Lee Anna here:
What a drama king... it isn't that bad. In fact, I don't know if Cole is scared of the tub or disgusted with it, but during a loud thunderstorm we caught him daring to climb in by himself to escape the noise!
We said the storm must be scary to make the tub look like a safe haven!
(No poodles were harmed in the writing of this post)
He's lucky he's black and can't be turned into an extreme Poodle grooming canvas. (Not that YOU would do that to him.)
ReplyDeleteOh my dog...there's a certain poodle who shares your e.x.a.c.t. feelings, Cole. What IS the obsession with clean feet that uprights have? Hope your gourmet dinner served by the staff was pawsome and accompanied by wonderful muzak to soothe your frazzled soul. ღ
ReplyDeleteGood to know that guinea pigs haven't cornered the market of drama queens. ;-)
ReplyDeleteCole - you look marvelous!
Room Service!?!?! I think that made up for that ugly "G" word -grooming:(
ReplyDeleteToo funny! We've given up taking our cat for similar grooming (shaving)this summer. Too much drama on his part! Picture all 4 cat feet braced in the opening for his carrier - and howling to go with the pose! And that was while he was still at home. So he's staying shaggy this summer.
ReplyDeleteLOL.......we totally understand, Friend Cole. When mom gets the hose out, even if she says it is just "watering the flowers", we go hide in the bushes! We are taking NO chances. We have thought about reporting her to the Animal Cruelty Division......surely waving the hose around every day is meant to intimidate us into submission.
ReplyDeleteCole is just the most handsome boy!
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, I enjoy you two so much. (Insert smiley face here).
ReplyDeleteI will keep that secret, Cole :o) and just between us, you look fabulous... enjoy the room service and dig in buddy :o)
ReplyDeleteYou get to look handsome and have room service. What a treat Cole.
ReplyDeleteShadow and Sarah
I cracked up when I got to the part about room service!
ReplyDeleteYou look pawesome, Cole! (Wow, I don't think Rita would ever be scared enough to seek shelter in the tub! She hates the tub!! Cole must have been really scared!)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy feeling cooler. And ramp up the pity so you'll get more room service.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment about the family of 5 photo. Tthere are actually 8 of us, though. Jan was just so THRILLED to find 5 of us in the same shot.
Cole, you deserved room service! Grooming days are long ones, especially when you have old bones! D'Art finds them a long haul too! You look very handsome though!
ReplyDeletePoor Cole ... just think of it this way ... all that carnage makes you even more handsome and lovable! :) :) Fun post!
ReplyDeleteYour furcut looks great! A good look for summer ~RascalandRocco
