Turquoise Prisms

Aqua, turquoise, lime, flashes of fuchia and green.
It all mixes together into the mix I love.
All from the scrap heap, er bin. I love the sewing notions print. And the pink swirls on turquoise.
Here are the six finished colors so far. They make a statement!
60" across right now before quilting.

  1. I didn't realize you prisms are that big. Are you just strip piecing, or working on a foundation?

  7. It's so much fun looking at all those neat strips close up. It gives a new perspective and fun surprises. The sparkles of fuscia are specially nice. Is it the size you want? It's a good wall hanging size. Congrats on starting with strips and coming up with a cohesive look.

  9. They are beautiful, and big. I havn't got that big scraps, so I have to make smaller blocks. I've had a busy time the last month, with not much sewing.

  18. The turquoise is so fabulous and definitely my favorite. Makes you just want to curl up in front of a fireplace with a good book and hot drink. But then you'd be screaming bloody murder since it's 100+ degrees in most places lately. On this the first official day of summer, can I just say...hurry up winter! 😇

  21. Gorgeous! I love the subtlety between the opposite triangles in each block. I have lots of strings and scraps but I would have to work really hard to come up with enough similar colors to make blocks like these.
