Aqua, turquoise, lime, flashes of fuchia and green.
It all mixes together into the mix I love.
All from the scrap heap, er bin. I love the sewing notions print. And the pink swirls on turquoise.
Here are the six finished colors so far. They make a statement!
60" across right now before quilting.

I didn't realize you prisms are that big. Are you just strip piecing, or working on a foundation?
ReplyDeleteVery striking. who knew the simple block would be so powerful.
ReplyDeleteOH, these prisms are so pretty and mesmerizing! Great use of scraps!
ReplyDeleteYour strings always look so wonderful because you have such a great variety of fabrics and textures.
ReplyDeleteTurqoise prism is my favorite so far, but all of them are great and look stunning together.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right that your blocks make a statement when you put them all together! Gorgeous! I noticed the sewing notions print right away, too.
ReplyDeletesuch beautiful blocks!
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun looking at all those neat strips close up. It gives a new perspective and fun surprises. The sparkles of fuscia are specially nice. Is it the size you want? It's a good wall hanging size. Congrats on starting with strips and coming up with a cohesive look.
ReplyDeleteLove this prism's colors...this block is high on my list--I NEED to do scrap play soon--still trimming up Cass' blocks to 10.5" hugs, julierose
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, and big. I havn't got that big scraps, so I have to make smaller blocks. I've had a busy time the last month, with not much sewing.
ReplyDeleteDiamond Girl! Sure do shine!! adore this last combo!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the tiny safety pin novelty fabric strip is priceless!!!!
Your scrap heap has yielded such BEAUTIFUL blocks!!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely colours there. Such a simple idea comes out looking so so good!
ReplyDeleteLove them in teal... I know I say that EVERY month!
ReplyDeleteOh yes. I do think I may have drooled a bit when I saw the turquoise with pink swirls.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI see watering cans and gardening gloves!
ReplyDeleteI see watering cans and gardening gloves!
ReplyDeleteThe turquoise prism reminds me of the waters around the Florida Keys!
ReplyDeleteLOVE!
ReplyDeleteThe turquoise is so fabulous and definitely my favorite. Makes you just want to curl up in front of a fireplace with a good book and hot drink. But then you'd be screaming bloody murder since it's 100+ degrees in most places lately. On this the first official day of summer, can I just say...hurry up winter! 😇
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous color combination! This is going to be amazing...those colors make me smile! Keep going...I know you will!
ReplyDeleteThis is coming along very well. You've got great color combos!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up at Midweek Makers

Gorgeous! I love the subtlety between the opposite triangles in each block. I have lots of strings and scraps but I would have to work really hard to come up with enough similar colors to make blocks like these.
