My bed is TOO small...

Cole-di-locks  here!
I have a little problem and it’s called “my new bed”

My pawrents gave me this bed for Christmas, and it IS soft but it’s made for a dog up to 64 lbs.

I weigh 65 lbs so my head hangs off.

I already got my spit on it, so it's mine now.
For now I'll just have to tuck my nose in (editor's note:...awe)

  3. Adorable! I have making a patchwork dog bed for the living room on my to do list but it'll be a big one even though our dogs are smaller than Cole because they always end up with their head in an awkward position otherwise lol

  5. Oh just lovely to read this LeeAnna! We had this with our last Irish Setter, poor old Seamus used to lie just like Cole - it was a hoot to see him, now and again he would give a huge sigh and look longingly at the couch!!

  6. small beds are comfy too when we sleep in that donut-poosition... and I know a trick how to make small beds bigger.... but I'm afraid your mom will not like my smart plan :o)

  7. We lucked out and inherited the Swissys' beds. they are HUGE! And we ALWAYS sleep solo, no sharing of beds, so mom has to make sure we have THREE beds in EVERY room!

PawS.....when our cousin Hugeaux the Cavalier comes over, he messes up the rotation....

We feel for ya, Cole Buddy.

  8. If you just shuffled your butt a little further back, I'm sure you'd fit. Boadicea could give pointers - although she' doesn't have those looong legs!

    It's a rough life.

    1. Thats what I told him! Move your butt over! Plenty of room. Sometimes one tucks, and sometimes one stretches out. LeeAnna

  11. Aww, Cole...you're too adorable not to mention a super handsome dude. ღ

Sam here, Cole. Do what I do, curl up in a teeny tiny ball and make the bed look ginormous. Then when you get up on their bed, s-p-r-e-a-d out fully. It drives the uprights crazy. BOL

    1. Cole here... that's a great idea Sam. I'll try it... although the guilt factor is working for me with the small bed. It really is comfy, but hanging my head at a weird angle makes momma feel guilty. heh heh

  12. BOL, I think you need a twin size bed. Me, I prefer a queen! :)

  13. Oh dear! We have that same problem all the time! Poodles are just so lanky! When D'Art needed to wear a 'cone of shame' we bought the biggest one at the pet store and he could still reach his owie, so we had to modify it to accomodate his long neck! I think someone needs to come up with a special line of pet products just for standard poodles!

  14. Oh, poor mistreated, long-legged baby! You do look awfully sweet when you curl up in there though!

  15. Oh no - this means that you need to take over the couch. Yep. That's what I would do... snorts and oinks. XOXO - Bacon

  16. Cole - tell your mom you need a larger bed! Your legs are just too long :)
