Still drawing. This one is Cole, on his porch-perch.
Oh. My. Dog!
He is so bored because it's raining. Still. All doggone day and yesterday too. It's not like he can sit down and sketch or read.
It's not like he can stay put while the momma sketches either. He got up mid way and I screeched, "lay back down!"
Poor boy laid down any which way but the way I was sketching him. I thought I had a pic of it on the day but had to do a reenactment.
I wish he could watch tv or read, or do poodle puzzles. We did take a walk but he doesn't love to get his naturally curly hair wet.
I'm still quilting but I am finding happiness in other art forms at the moment. I am drawing, beading, painting, hand embroidering, and a few other pursuits. It all goes in the creativity toybox. You can pull out a skill when you least expect it!
Cole needs a hobby. Maybe he can paw paint a portrait of his mom :-)
ReplyDeletethe dogs at the CAAWS shelter paint on canvases which are then sold to pay for heartworm treatments!
ReplyDeleteI say, buy Cole some paints!
It's so good to see your daily sketches. I need to get back to that.
ReplyDeleteI really like your sketch - really get that sense of Cole waiting and waiting...
ReplyDeletePoor Cole. For him, it's now been raining forever, hasn't it?
ReplyDeleteLove the sketch, you caotured the essence of Cole's long wait. I too go in cycles of creating art, beads, clay, fabric, drawing whatever medium feels right at the time I have to get it out, that's one thing I learned after suppressing it for so long.
ReplyDeletePepiSmartDog: LOVE your drawings. You know what drizzle does to curly hair - Cole doesn't want an afro! BOL!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Hope to see you again this week. *waves paw* :=o)
