Ah, red stained glass

I'm showing you the last of my red scrappy blocks for this month's rainbow scrap challenge at
super scrappy Saturday link party  A different color is chosen each month.
This month I got out the box of red scraps. There is a lot of good energy in the color red! I feel different just working with it! Are you effected by different colors??

These are the stained glass blocks I am doing in each color, the pattern is a click away right here!
Here are some of all the colors and aren't they exciting?? We have some colors yet to come, so stay tuned.
The block calls for a thin strip of black around each but I am liking them cheek to cheek like they are here!
Enjoy your scraps! Visit the other links to see their red blocks.

  3. I think they look great 'cheek to cheek' and as usual love your colours. I once lived in a house I wasn't very happy in, but when I realised that I hated the colours the previous owners had used I went mad with a can of orange paint (huge Victorian hallway, high ceilings, that's a lot of paint) and felt soooo much better for it.

  6. When the top is all sewn together I'd love to see it hanging in front of a window!

  7. My goodness, that's going to be gorgeous, with or without additional black borders. I love these blocks. I may have to try to do this pattern with some of my leftovers...

  9. Isn't it wonderful how the tone on tone fabrics glow like stained glass? You will have a wonderful quilt when the other colours are added. There must be something to colour - I was so much more productive with the yellow and pink.. Red has been a slow month for me.

    1. me too!! I just wasn't as jazzed and didn't enjoy it as much. The yellow and pink months were much easier and more fun.
