Sweet Christmas |
Welcome to this week's list of likes!
I loved the mailbox decoration seen on a recent walk
I liked visiting with my friend Mary last Friday. She brought new tombow markers and we tested them with swipes on paper... then tried the blender and I think the little thing looks like an adirondack lake scene
I like surprise gifts in the mail from friends...
Monika sent a cute little felted bone to Milo with his name on it!( http://tailsaroundtheranch.blog/)
Diane from Texas, (https://yarngoddess.wordpress.com/) sent some silk, hand dyed squares and empty yarn cones to be used to make trees for next year!
I got some Christmas cards too, and many are original designs by my talented friends
I like the color and shape of these pots
I like the way my small table runner came out... and it's done. This is a shot of putting the beads on to quilt and accent the very center.
I quilted the whole thing onto red felt with gold metallic thread (YLI) all around the next to last row, then buttonhole around the outside. The gold beads are in corners of some hexies in random places.
I'll do better pictures of it tomorrow along with pics of the quilt shop I visited, and the gifts I got for myself!
So happy to finish something!
My bargello is currently being moved around so it's not done.
I LOVE the new toy and whimzees this week! Christmas came early!
(we know he's easily overstimulated, so we give him a toy every so often)
Mama isn't overly happy with the fact that the flamingo's neck was torn open within two hours... I kept hearing squeaks, and seeing wringing hands...
but what's a pup to do?
I mean, gotta keep myself occupied while they watch the talky-talk at night.
The squeaker is still hanging in there, and when I get the innards all out (LeeAnna: EEEK) I still have two legs, two wings, and a red santa hat to tear off. Hee hee... the gift that keeps on giving!
(LeeAnna: note to self... no more flamingo's for Milo... I like them too much)
I like tea
or at least tearing up the tea box |
gotta go now

Hi LeeAnna! What a sweet gesture to send Milo his own ornament. I would love to decorate our mailbox but it is part of a grouping . . . I'm not sure all would like that! Happy Thursday to you. ~smile~ Roseanne

Tombow markers in the blender? Your table runner is lovely. I like the combination of colors and prints, have I said that before? It bears repeating.:-) Those flowers pots have a cool shape. Oh, that's snow! Be sure to take a photo when you've planted stuff in your pots. Cheers, Milo, says Molly the Cat who is sitting between me and the keyboard. Silly girl.
ReplyDeletehaha, the blender is the pen that merges colors when you go over them. Unfortunately those are not my pots... a neighbor's. Hi Molly, come play!
