Welcome to this week's list of likes!
It was a hard week of continually being out bid for homes so these are just a few likes
I liked this image of Dick Cavett interviewing a Milo lookalike.
Bet that poodle talked circles around the journalist.
Of course Ellen DeGeneres probably speaks poodle
Milo is a good communicator for instance, he wanted more food so he came over nudging, and trying to shake hands and pushing my arm around til I got the picture.
Cary Grant discussed his motivation with this poodle |
what about Betty Grable...
I wonder if this poodle is asking, does this haircut make my hips look fat?
Then there's my poodle son Cole,
He knew how to communicate very well... post is (HERE !) How I loved him.
I'm watching season two of The Outlander series... OMG I loved each book, and listening to Diana Gabaldon speak at the Library of Congress book festival one year. I am enthralled by series two!
I liked going to the Bead Bazaar last weekend and getting some treasures. If you missed that post, well, go see it HERE! I'll wait, go on...lots of fun pics!
take a gander at these Flamingo toes... My friend yarngoddess emailed and said google flamingo shoes so I did... heh heh.
I've always loved flamingos
Alas I no longer wear stiletto heels... not since disco dancing the nights away in my Candie's Mules
I like comfy shoes now...
MILO"s MOMENT:
Hi to all my friends! A lick and a shake to you!
I like so many things, love all the dogs I've met walking around the houses Mama wants to buy.
Come! Get in the car! |
It's been exhausting!!!
So I wanted to say I love my job. I'm in charge of recycling around here! (I want to chase after the guys in the trucks but there's work to be done here) I shred all paper I can get my teeth on. Then when I'm done with my "VERY IM-PAW-TANT JOB I have my underling (Mama) pick up the pieces to recycle.
Nobody, and I mean no human, would ever know who that mail went to!
I'm also in charge of recycling toys because my peeps just love to give me toys. Can't keep them all so I make sure to put them in so many pieces there is no way Mama can
I had a blue one of these
and I didn't need two, so I made sure to put it in lots of pieces for Mama to throw away
Don't worry, I don't usually eat them, I bring them to Mama as her job is to pick up my leftovers and wrap them up for those men in the recycling truck.
You're welcome.
Now sit! Stay! And clickety click to visit these guys making humans happy!

Hi LeeAnna,
ReplyDeleteThe bead extravaganza looked like lots of fun! Cool things to spark you creativity side. Those statue with the poodles are so cute and clever. It really looks like Dick Caveat and Ellen! I'm sending you good vibes all the time to find a house you love or will grow to love when you put your mark on it. And Milo - he rocks. ~smile~ Roseanne
um, that's really dick cavet and Ellen not statues!lol
DeleteLove the shoes!!! Hope you find a home soon. mary in Az
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting array of "poodles with famous people" pictures. They do get around!
ReplyDeleteI love the shoes. I have not worn stiletto's in years either. Comfort is the name of the game for me now!
ReplyDeleteI love those flamingo shoes! Especially the sneakers and the ones with flamingo feet as heels. I don't wear heels either, but they're fun to look at! I'm sorry the house struggle is ongoing and wretched, what a mess!
ReplyDeleteLA, my daughter would go nuts over those shoes. WOW Milo is so dang cute. Take care, Sharon
ReplyDeleteThe flamingo shoes are awesome, but no way could I wear any of them anymore. I would have to go for the flat comfy ones. I can't believe that I wore high heels most days when I was in the classroom.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos and Milo seems like such a hoot, as are those chicken shoes! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteGreat fun post!! Love Flamingo toes, crack me up.
ReplyDeleteVery cool pics. Thanks for sharing. Loved them all.
ReplyDeleteMilo...please tell Elsa to bring pieces to me and NOT to eat them. She noshed another sock recently. Oy.
ReplyDeleteOh, not the dance shoes! He didn't look at all contrite. Those flamingo shoes are stunning. lol. Ugh for being outbid. I hope you catch a break soon!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of likes to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Thankful Thursday. ♥
Love the flamingo shoes - mine would have to be the sneaker version! Milo, it looks like you take your recycling job very seriously. It must be exhausting to work so hard!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smiles and laughs! Love your sky shot.
ReplyDeleteI bet the bead extravaganza was fun. I laughed out loud at the flamingo shoes. Milo and his adventures -- always worth a visit!
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are funny. My students would love it if I wore any of them! lol Thanks for linking up today.
ReplyDeletePoodles - how cute! 😁 Love those shoes you featured, it is pretty interesting!

Milo is so much fun! I wish he could play with Scout but they might teach other naughty things! :D The shoes were fun! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteAwww - so cute and funny
ReplyDelete...dang, look at those chicken spikes! I need to get a pair of black Converse with flames. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteMilo, I hope you pay your assistant well with kisses, nudges, and cuddles. :-) I would wear that pair of the flamingo Converses and put the flamingo heels in the yard as art. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe View from the Top of the Ladder
Oh my, those shoes are to die for. I especially liked the last pair. But like you, I don't wear anything higher than a half inch these days ... but we can still admire, right???
ReplyDeleteIt seems Milo is doing an excellent job keeping you distracted these days, what with recycling and toy pick-up. Yup, he knows what you need!
Those shoes are amazing - all the heels with that theme. and crazy feet. I keep seeing things with flamingos lately. Fabric at the shop where I teach, pj's at Tesco when I was looking in the sales. and so on!
ReplyDeleteMilo: there is a new puppy next door. When I open the curtains in the morning I can look down and see her in her back garden...sometimes, though it is more like the remains of whatever she has been recycling. You haven't been teaching her, have you?
Love the famous-people-with-poodles photos. Am impressed that you found all of them if you're busy house-hunting. How does Milo feel about moving? Will he be able to take some of his shredded toys with him.
ReplyDeleteHugs from here and thanks for sharing.
