The Misadventures of Milo....you can't have your bed and eat it too

Will I ever be comfortable again?

I doubt it.

You don't know what you have til it's gone... so true.

All I was doing, stay with me here, was taking a random bite out of the bed. Just a little... tiny... hard to see, hardly worth noticing nip of the inner corner of my new bed  (editor's note: Milo was the lion king and the bed was his prey!)  when....
Just like that!

The mama barks, "Milo do not eat your bed" followed by Milo, stop, quit, I mean it, etc.

I mean she barely warned me at all!!!

Ha, she can't stop the mighty bite of the Poodle Piranha!

Oh...
guess she can...

She said, "that's it !" and the bed got a time out!

All that's left me is bread and water, a hard floor, hardly 20 toys, a roof over my head, all the kibble in the bag, and this stinkin' collar. (a feeble attempt at trying to control me!)

I love my bed, enough to eat it up! Then snap! just like that it's gooooooooone in an instant.

What?
She said I can have it back when I don't eat it?
blink,  blink...

What a price to pay for comfort.

okey dokey... I'll NEVER eat it again, heh heh
but the Monkey might....

So cute. We are contending with a suddenly itchy German Shepherd so it's off to the vets for us.

Naughty monkey! I bet he's the one who encouraged Milo in the first place!

LOL - bet you can't wait for this puppy stage to be over. I spent Friday with my daughter's family and had forgotten how sharp the puppy teeth are, until their puppy decided to attach herself to me for the afternoon. Literally!

hahaha! That LOOK on Milo's face!!!! That 5th photo has me rolling on the floor laughing here. Consider yourself duly chastised mom, oh he is a hoot!

Oooh what a funny story...Milo is a real "smartie pants" for sure! Once you've had a taste of a bed look out!! ;)))

Oh, Milo! You may be challenging for Mom and Dad, but you sure do entertain the rest of us! LeeAnna, do you read the Darling Millie blog? Millie is a cat, rescued by Lynn of the Patcherie Menagerie blog. I think Milo needs his own blog!

Oh, my. Just remember these puppy days will soon be gone and you'll be wishing for them back again. I just sewed a cute poodle quilt block as my block to ask my hive mates to make for me. It's so cute. Your posts are so creatively written. They put a smile on my face every time.

Who's the 'monkey' in this scenario? Don't feel like you're alone, Milo. Elsa has chewed all the ears, arms, feet, noses of her toys. I'm hoping new toys in the shape of donuts (without holes) will keep her monkey in check. 💗

Very entertaining, you write so well. We have been there, done that, with dogs and cats but I could never express it like you do. Thanks for the entertainment.

How cute! Milo, if you eat your bed, or let the monkey, you won't have one to sleep on. How about you eat the monkey instead?

Hehehe. Soooo cute. Not possible to get mad at such a cutie - especially for a tiny nibble. Reminds me of our last dog... Got her a new pretty pricey bed... Laid on it right away, and immediately bit a little hole in it - so I wouldn't be able to return it if she ended up not liking it. Luckily she liked it, and never chewed on it again!

What a dog has to put up with...
But it IS a nice bed...
So probably worth it, right? :)

I can't resist those poodle eyes. I'd be one of those crazy people buying new beds every day just to avoid that look!

BOL!! My Husky is notorious for eating dog beds! For awhile there she had no bed at all, but then the guilt set in.... So thousands of doggie bed dollars later she has yet another new one. Let's see how long this one lasts. Adorable post!
